culture / socialCommunity work in New York at Williamsburg Art & Historical Center; Madrid at Fundación Beas; Dominican Republic at Oné Respe; and Jordan at Alliance for Solidarity, and National Gallery of Fine Arts.
“Plenty of people do volunteering work in the arts. Quite often even more than in other walks of life. Passion for what we do is a strong asset to follow our dreams, and it may take us to make a difference in culture and education. Contact with community work goes beyond this gallery. Behind these exotic places, there are beautiful life stories. Spanish painter Goya said that ’the sleep of reason produces monsters’. And, yes, in social work, we fight monsters.”
“I never think of the future, it comes soon enough.”
